Ruth Ann primarily works in watercolors and watercolor combined with other media and is inspired by nature, animals, sea creatures and color. She likes to do a variety of watercolor techniques – sometimes traditional and others very experimental.

Ruth Ann is a signature member of the Delaware Watercolor Society, the Rehoboth Art League, The Art League of Ocean City and the Cape Artists of Lewes. Ruth Ann’s watercolors have won awards in numerous juried exhibitions. In 2022 her “Koi” painting won a best watercolor award at the Rehoboth Art League’s Members Fine Art Show.
