Isabel Pizzolato retired and relocated to Delaware in 2007. While working she took various art related, adult education classes and spent several years studying decorative tole painting. In Delaware she joined the Delmarva Decorative Artists group but also focused on improving her painting skills and investigating other mediums. While taking classes at local art organizations and lessons from local artists, she found watercolor to be her favorite medium and concentrated her efforts there. She enjoys the many applications and techniques that watercolor allows and the unpredicted results it can bring. Her ability has been recognized by the many awards she has received and the purchase of her work by private collectors. She is currently a signature member of the Baltimore Watercolor society and the Delaware Watercolor Society and teaches beginner and intermediate watercolor at a local art league.
