Painting the architecture of Cape May, can certainly be a challenge yet one can edit and simplify details, giving the viewer, the illusion of that intricate Victorian charm. As always I will use the elements and principles of design to compose my painting. I plan:

*to enhance the image by creating colorful shadow  by using bounced and reflective light. 

* edit placement of features, such as the flag lamp post, adding flowers, etc.

*Use scale and direction in placing people in my composition.

* Find it/lose it with repetitive details.
